The Story
Bimetallic (or Bi-metal lugs) are specialized electrical connectors designed to securely join aluminum cables to copper busbars or terminals, preventing galvanic corrosion. They feature a friction-welded construction with an aluminum barrel for the conductor and a copper palm for the connection point.
